My awesome resident let me go home early on this chilly, rainy Tuesday... After battling traffic for more than an hour and half, finally home relaxing on the couch in my flannel PJ's... Sipping chai while mom feeds the dog... Deep breath... So good to be home...

I finally took a break from the madness of being on floors this morning.

Rounded on my patients super quick (also helps that my census is half of what it was a week ago), finished my notes, and just took a long walk to grab tamales, arroz con leche, and crack-containing Colombian coffee for breakfast...

Also finally got a picture of my favoritest tamale-lady in the world!! Hot, fresh, $1 worlds-best-tasting tamales and $1 arroz con leche... All with a smile plus a warm pat on the hand. Have I whined enough about how much I'm going to miss working here yet?
